Harvest is Here! October 2009 Although we had to delay our Petit Mensang harvest due to rain, we have at least three to four more upcoming harvest dates. We will try to schedule a few of them on a weekend so that you can come by and observe the festivities. Let us know if you'd like to take part. New Policy regarding Limo's, Buses, & Vans August 2009 Due to increased traffic of regular customers visiting our tasting room, we can no longer accept groups arriving in buses, limos or vans on Saturdays. Unfortunately, when our parking lot is full, we have no room for large vehicles to come in and turn around. We understand that some of you prefer to use limo services to tour the Virginia wine country, so we will still allow limos on the other days that we are open. Reservations are still required, so that we can prepare to give you the prompt attention you deserve. We'd like to thank the Academy... July 2009 We have just been awarded our second Gold medal for the 2006 Garnet at the Virginia State Fair! You'll recall the first medal was for our 2005 Bloodstone at the Eastern Seabord Wine Competition, which also won the "Best Individual Label" award at the VA Fair. The State Fair will take place from September 24th - October 4th. Garnet will be on display wearing her gold medal.
